The Winner will win round trip airfare to Austin for the American Idol auditions and 2 nights hotel at the Radisson Hotel & Suites Austin-Town Lake. Must be at least 15 and no older than 28 to participate.

DETAILED CONTEST RULES
FOR CITADEL RADIO STATIONS

1. How to Enter the Contest:

a. The New Mexico Idol contest will begin on 7/29/10 at 4pm and will end when all eligible contestants have had the opportunity to participate.

b. To participate in the contest, listeners must enter in person any time between 4pm and 5:59pm at the Radisson Hotel and Waterpark, 2500 Carlisle Blvd., Albuquerque, NM 87110, mezzanine level of Waterpark, by completing and submitting an entry form (providing their name, address, phone number and date of birth) and providing valid government issued photo identification. Station is not responsible for lost, stolen, mutilated, destroyed, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete or untimely entries. Entrants may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the station.

c. A maximum of one (1) entry per person will be permitted.

2. Eligibility Restrictions:

a. The contest is open to all KOB-FM listeners who are legal United States citizens 15-28 years of age and who reside in the KOB-FM Albuquerque, New Mexico listening area. Employees of KOB-FM, its licensee, Citadel Broadcasting Company, their subsidiaries, affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the New Mexico listening area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Immediate family shall include spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren and any other person residing within the same household.

b. Listeners are eligible to win a KOB-FM contest only once every thirty (30) days. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted in any contest.

c. Participants in the contest must possess valid government issued photo identification.

d. Participants will be required to sign a release as a condition of being permitted to participate in this contest. In the event the entrant is a minor, they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must sign any and all required releases on their behalf. Winners will be required to a Contest Winner Release as a condition of receiving a prize in this contest. The contest winner and their travel companion, if any, must each sign a Travel Release. In the event the winner is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must sign a Travel Release on their behalf and must accompany the minor winner on the Grand Prize trip.

3. Prizes:

a. One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded in this contest. The Grand Prize will include: roundtrip airfare for two (2) people to Austin, Texas (winner and winner’s travel companion must travel on the same itinerary); and hotel accommodations for two (2) people for three (3) nights (8/9/10, 8/10/10, 8/11/10) at the Radisson Austin, Town Lake. Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize: $1,000.

b. Grand prize provided by Radisson Hotels.

c. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of KOB-FM, 500 4th Street NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102, within 7 business days. The Grand Prize trip is for specific dates, 8/09/10-8/11/10. If the winner cannot travel on those dates or does not pick up prize certificates and travel documents with 7 business days, they will forfeit their prize.

d. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.

e. Grand Prize winner will receive 1099 IRS Tax form for the value of the grand prize as stated in these contest rules.

f. Prizes are limited solely to those items explicitly set forth herein and shall not include any and all other expenses, incidentals or taxes that may arise out of the winner’s receipt of this prize.

g. Prizes will be awarded as is, with no written or express warranty.

4. Selection of Winners:

a. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

b. Listeners may enter as described in Section 1 of these contest rules. Following the registration period, the competition will begin at 6pm on 7/29/10. Each eligible contestant will have the opportunity to sing for up to fifteen seconds (:15) of one (1) song of their choices for the judges. After all eligible contestants have had the opportunity to sing, the judges will choose five (5) finalists based on singing talent, stage presence and overall appeal, as determined in the sole discretion of the designated judges. Each selected finalist will then have the opportunity to sing for up to one (1) minute for the judges. After the five (5) finalists have performed, the Judges will select one (1) Grand Prize Winner, based on the singing talent, stage presence and overall appeal of each finalist. The Judges will rank the remaining four (4) finalists (4th runner-up through 1st runner-up) and in the event the Winner is unable to claim the prize or otherwise forfeits the prize for any reason, the next runner-up will be awarded the prize. This shall continue until an eligible Grand Prize Winner is determined and accepts the prize.

c. The Judges will be comprised of three (3) judges from the New Mexico music and entertainment industry. Decisions of the judges are final.

5. Conditions:

a. Photo identification and social security number of the Grand Prize winner may also be required in order to collect the prize. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent. Winner will receive a 1099 for the value of the prize as stated in these contest rules.

b. Winner is required to sign a release in order receive their prize. Failure or refusal to execute the release will result in winner forfeiting the prize. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold KOB-FM , Citadel Broadcasting Company, their subsidiaries, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

c. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guest or traveling companion, if applicable) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.

d. Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.

e. The Station reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify the contest rules and dates at any time for any reason. Material modifications shall be announced on-air, when practical. By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these contest rules, any modifications thereof, and by all other rules imposed by Station management. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Station, any event associated with this contest or the prize is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

f. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.

g. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of KOB-FM.

h. KOB-FM is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.

i. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KOB-FM or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to KOB-FM, 500 4th Street NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102

j. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of greater or equal value at its sole discretion.
