David Manzanares has worked in the film industry for the past 20 years while simultaneously working professionally in the music industry for the past 15 years. Over the past several years he finds himself in the unique position of having the opportunity of combining the two artistic/creative endeavors. He is able to not only place his own music on soundtracks but also is able to place local musicians in the films as well. As the NM music Producer/coordinator for the film Crazy Heart, he was able to place 11 NM musicians in various scenes in the film. He has recently been asked to compose/score several upcoming feature films in NM. Undoubtedly he will call upon his NM musical brothers and sisters to assist him on his upcoming projects.
